Who wants to know a secret? ..It’s Monday. Surprise!!!
I know you were clueless to what day it actually was, right!? Leave it to me to break it to you gently. You really can always count on me for that, so you know.
This past week, I’ve been thankful for:
…alright, confession. I know I have so many things to be thankful for but there are days where I have to look really really hard to find what they are. Am I alone in this??
- going 2 days without my laptop. Not being glued to it and taking a virtual break was incredibly great. So great, I’m going to do it again this week.
- hanging out with 3 old women who filled me up with life and marriage wisdom and also giving me a clearer perspective on things.
- friends who lend an ear. I think it’s important to have at least that one friend you can call and be able to count on.
- all of you. I can’t believe I have 51 followers. It’s so neat you care. I’ve really enjoyed writing so much and you guys are just awesome. So, thank you!
- God’s words, timing and care. Always the best at always the right time.
By the way, I went out to a couple orchards last week and though I might not be ready and creative enough to “capture” people, I think me and fruit are doing fantastically.
Anyone wanna guess what kind of fruit this is??

I am with you on forgetting to be thankful. Its really quite silly, because God is so good to me.
hmm... plums? i know what you mean about those days when it's hard to point out the blessings =)
they look like purple peaches!! what are they?!

Laptop breaks are sometimes often needed. I'm glad you still are able to find things to be thankful for love.
And are those some sort of plums? I grew up eating something very similar looking, but have no idea what the name would be...
grapes?
ohhhh how I've missed you! My accidental summer flakiness is almost over :)
It's Tuesday for me! Sorry, I'm a weird Northern Hemisphere person :)
I love being able to find blessings in every day life. I don't do it often enough but I always feel so much better for stopping and thinking about them.
blue balls.
duh.
i have no filter.
Horrible as it is, I can definitely relate to having to think SUPER hard about what exactly I'm thankful for some days. That's just wrong! Goes to show I should think about it more often... it'd make me feel way less guilty. . . and less selfish if I could just spit out a million reasons for gratitude. =)
Oh, and those look like grapes to me! =)
God always knows what we need and when. He's so good like that. : )
the fruit is so pretty. blueberries? i'm a bit stumped because grapes, and blueberries usually clump together rather than sepeaate like that. but they look like blueberries.
Did you ever confirm whether they were pluots or plums? Look ilke Santa Rosa plums to me... yummy yummy to my tummy!
