I guess part of me knew to warn you of my scarcity through the interwebs this week but part of me figured you’d know this. I’m just about not touching my computer in the evening and for only 20 minutes in the morning before going to work.
My days and evening have been as follows…
Ride to work with G-man, where he takes the car. He returns to take me out to lunch (a true treat) and returns again to drive me home from work where he insists I go workout while he makes dinner. Keep in mind, I work 25 minutes away from home… and when he cooks, its not your chicken and 2 veggie sides. They are elaborate dishes. Dishes that I never knew existed..dishes that I never knew he could cook.
He doesn’t like to cook. He says it all the time. The quicker and easier it is, the more he’ll actually do it, but the past 2 nights, he’s chopped, mashed, cooked, sautéed, baked and expanded into 12+ ingredient meals. Let me say they have been absolutely delicious. Aaaalmost better than my cooking….almost.
Ok, it is better. It’s been blowing me away when he calls me at work to read me a recipe that he wants to make, using words like polenta, southwestern pizza, portabella mushroom sweet potato wraps… I can’t confirm or deny if tears were springing to my eyes as he read each and every recipe over the phone , in pure joy and gratitude over his eagerness to serve me in this way.
Even though I feel like I don’t have enough time in my day to get the things I normally do done because my sole focus is on our time together while he’s here, I’m still happier than if I were able to cross those things off my lists. My time with him is far more important that that phone call, tweet or email…as I like to say (to myself), that’s what work is for…play time.
So, I hope you excuse my infrequency here, while I enjoy the time remaining with my man. Hopefully this jelly will hold you over for a bit. (from the Monterey Bay Aquarium last weekend)

Sweetie I don't normally repeat myself but........you take all the time you can get with your G Man, we will still be here when you return and we look forward to seeing your photos of the wedding when you do!!!
Enjoy every minute of your time together!!
girl, you are totally excused! We better not see you back here until G-man is gone! Soak it up!!
Soak up that time together!! I know the feeling all too well, John and I were long distance for a year and only saw each other one weekend a month. And it's so wonderful that G-man takes care of you so well, it's so rare to find a true gentleman these days...we're both lucky ladies!

How sweet! Take all the time you want :) I can't imagine how excited you must be.
I love that you left us with an image of a jelly fish to hold us over until your back. I feel so...I don't know...held over by the tentacles of a jelly fish.
I almost typed testicles.
>laughing<
That's it, I'm going to text right during supper tonight! OK, not really. I'm not that mean. I know you're having a dreeeeeamy time, as you should be. ;)
Enjoy!!!!
Definitely definitely enjoy your time with him!!! Life is SO much more important than blogging!
He cooks for you? Def. a keeper! Enjoy every single minute my friend!
You better not be reading this comment until G is gone! :)
Yay for G time and sick days!! Feel better
enjoy your time with g-man! long distance relationships are not easy to maintain. very late happy birthday wishes ~ was out of town with family without internet... dreamy for me! whenever we take the children to aquariums we usually stand in awe for minutes on end watching the elegant moves of the jelly fish tank. they love all the touch tanks and animal shows, but there is something about the jelly fish that will make them all stand still and just watch.
have a splendid week with your +1.
So cute he cooks for you! If I try and get to the gym I come home to my guy on the couch... so I need to make dinner too. LOL
