Whoa, wait. Less than 2 weeks from Christmas?! This is crazy. I know I’m not the only one enjoying all the Christmas movies, though. Am I right?
Any favorites among you all? I’m watching 12 Dates of Christmas right now and its corny but ok. I might like it more had I not started it an hour in, but its not like its hard to figure out. As is the case with most Christmas movies.
Today, I’m thankful for:
- having the entire row to myself on the flight home. That just about never happens!
- a safe trip home where I’m most thankful for In and Out giving those lap mats. A great big ketchup filled french fry landed right in my lap, driving home!
- the love and support from friends near and far.
- all the cutesy predictable Christmas movies.
- being finished with my Christmas decorations. I can’t wait to show you guys, I love them! I have themes in my 2 rooms I did. I say themes… One is blue and silver and the other is red and gold. {that’s it}
a sneak peak..instagram style
- knowing God has the reigns in my life and being reminded of it.
Are there certain Christmas movies you watch every single year as a tradition?
Has anyone not started shopping yet? And who’s finished!?
I’m thinking this week is going to be a great week…can I get an AMEN?!

I am finished shopping (and wrapping!) with the exception of 2 gifts, 1 which is perishable and has to be purchased closer to Christmas... and my favorite movie to watch this time of year is Love Actually - definitely a non-traditional Christmas movie, but I love it!
Lovin' the mantle decor!
Oh my, I can't wait to see the rest of your decorations! I've only managed to watch White Christmas, and I haven't even watched it all the way through! : ( But I'm trying to get some Christmas shopping done today. Maybe that will help me get into the Christmas spirit a little more!
I like your new font. At least, I think it's new.
Also, loving your mantle decor and the colors you went with!!!
We watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night, the one with Johnny Depp. Which is a fun Christmas tradition. I like it a lot better than the original, which freaked me out as a kid. Then again, I was scared of movies like E.T. and Mac and Me, too.
I bought The Polar Express this year, too. I think Q will like it.
99 % done with Christmas shopping, thanks for the reminder. I need to order Hubby's leather belt from Saddleback!
I hope you get your yellow envelope this week. I didn't send it priority, but first class shouldn't take more than 4 days or so, ya think???
We watch Home Alone every single year, and I still find it hilarious.
And your decorations are SO CUTE! Can't wait to see more! Way to go Martha :-)
And I just read L's comment... Umm.. I watched the Chocolate factory movie last night for the first time, and I asked Brandon a couple of times if that's supposed to be a scary movie. It freaked me the heck out! How are kids supposed to watch that mess?
oh. em. gee.
I'm so glad to finally catch up on youuuuu! Cute decorations :) And since you asked, I watch Elf every.single.year. And quote it all Christmas season! And J & I just started shopping two days ago...whoopsy! And we're only about 1/3 of the way done...err!! And it is going to be a great great GREAT week!
Can't wait to see those decorations!! The sneak peak is awesome!
WHAT! I've never had a row to myself. lucky lady!
Amen sisa! :p
Lovin' the cute holiday decor! Very cute! I was stalking your instagram pics earlier lol.
I love everything about this post, especially this - "knowing God has the reigns in my life and being reminded of it." :)
