Stick a fork in me

Did I tell you about the time I got a $60 parking ticket for parking in front of my friend’s house for 5 minutes? Her neighborhood, which is a very old established neighborhood doesn’t allow parking on one side of the street one day a week for street cleaning. Would you believe I just arrived, not noticing no other car on that side that one day!?

Within 5 minutes of being inside, her husband runs out the door and proceeds to beg the cop to not give me a ticket. I follow suit begging but to no avail. I imagined $30 but once I saw $60, I about flipped my lid.

Or the time I dropped an entire pan of perfectly cooked bacon on the floor? For no reason? I about cried over the travesty.

Or the time I did the sock bun that everyone in blogland and pinterest has been raving about and totally and utterly failed!? Which solidifies my need to stick with ponytails.

How about the fact G-man bought himself shirts and is letting me wrap them to pretend they’re Christmas presents from me? A complete win win for us both is how I see it.

And that yesterday I did a 4 month old photo shoot and was pretty nervous. Babies are.not.easy! I commend all baby photographers. Until I get the momma’s approval, I can’t show pictures yet, but I hope to soon. He is a cutie!

Any plans this weekend? Are there any Christmas parties this weekend? I have none, zero, nada to attend. I do plan on making Jenni's puppy chow though. My first treat this entire Christmas season. I’m horribly behind everyone on the treats making.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Pin It Now!

So I practiced the sock bun a couple times at home, and it was SO CUTE! I was so excited to wear it out, and the first time I tried it (for going somewhere nice) it turned out EXACTLY like yours. I haven't attempted it again!

That would make me mad about the ticket, too. Taxing the people, that's what it's all about!!! (ahem)

Dropping bacon on the floor is a travesty indeed. Reminds me of the time I spilled an entire quart of cream (to make mascarpone cheese) down the inside front of my fridge.

Or the time I grabbed a pan of straight-out-of-the-oven meatballs with my bare hands.

I think we were MADE to be eachothers friends.

Can't wait to see your pics!!!!

60$ for 5 min is ridunculous! That's no fun. I'm sorry girly :-(
And I've been wanting that sock bun for ages! I just don't have nearly enough hair. I think you should try again. You would be looking mighty hot!
And I wanna see the baby pics!
Here's to a great weekend!

Keep practising with your sock bun! I did love your "nailed it" picture, made me laugh!! Is your hair thick? Sometimes styling can be difficult with thick hair. Because apparently I am an expert all of a sudden, haha!

I am excited to see the "puppy chow". You keep introducing me to new food! I am off to my work Christmas party tonight. Super nervous as I have to drive into the city. Also nervous because everyone else will be bringing their partners and I will be by myself. Never mind.

Tim and I know exactly what we're each getting too. He is the worst present receiver, and when I try to surprise him it is utterly disappointing for us both. So. He sent me the exact links to the items that he wants and he is getting those exact items. Shirt, actually.

But I did go to Target today and pick up a few small birthday surprises to give to him today. I'm sure he won't like any of them and we'll end up returning them, but whatever...at least he'll have something to unwrap on his birthday that he doesn't know about already...
