I'm thankful for 7

Holy cow this past weekend has been an incredibly busy yet amazing weekend! Jam packed full o' stuff.
Details more on it but today is all about the thanking.

- I'm thankful for my taxes being officially filed. I never got a hold of my tax lady but I finally got the information I needed, they filed them, I paid them and I have all my tax forms from them. Pretty sure that's the last time I'll see her.

- I'm thankful for attending the Beth Moore conference this weekend. I've never had the opportunity to do her bible studies or hear her speak and it was just amazing! <more to come on that, but a sneak peak for ya.>
The worship band bringing us to our feet.

My feet were listening to Beth Moore speaking...

- I'm thankful for a girls night out or rather in. Food, friends, gabbing and watching one of the best girl movies ever. Return To Me. Such a sweet movie with sweet friends.

- I'm thankful my love has arrived safely in "X" country (sorry, I can't say where he is), but I know he's safe.

- I'm thankful for God softening my heart and spirit after 6 years of it hardening and becoming critical, cynical and down right mean. It still has a long ways to go but everyone around me can see (and has commented) how much my personality has changed since leaving CDC...for the better.

- I'm thankful for being able to be girly again. I didn't realize just how much I missed it. It's been a good 6 1/2 years since I've been able to paint my nails...I don't even own a bottle of nail polish. =/

- I'm thankful for answered prayers. They might have taken 2 years and upwards to 4 but they've been answered and it's neat to see the results...and learning to be patient for His timing.

Beth Moore taught on these verses:
James 5:7-11
Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord. The farmer waits for the precious produce of the soil, being patient about it, until it gets the early and late rains. You too be patient; strengthen your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is near. Do not complain, brethren against one another, so that you yourselves may not be judged; behold, the Judge is standing right at the door. As an example, brethren of suffering and patience, take the prophets who spoke in the name of the Lord. We count those blessed who endured. You have heard of the endurance of Job and have seen the outcome of the Lord's dealings, that the Lord is full of compassion and is merciful.

Pin It Now!

Yay for girls day in. Those are the best.
And a double yay for softer hearts! Places like that can really toughen people's spirits.
I'm also so happy that your man has made it safely to the "X" country. I hope he can return to you soon :-)
