Ice scream you scream we all scream for ice cream

Is it wrong to have a bowl of ice cream before AND after dinner??

It makes me happy...and there's days I need 2 bowls instead of 1.

I confess, I'm beyond missing my love right now. Painfully missing him. Tomorrow he leaves for 2 weeks overseas (it just got reduced from 4 to 2, praise God!) and just thinking of that makes me miss him even more.

Which if you really think about it, is really silly because we're already 3,745 miles away (thanks google maps) from each other with an ocean separating us so why would him going out of the country be any different?? I. do. not. know.

But it is.

I digress.

Remember the raves about my awesome tax lady?? Well, let me set the record straight...not so awesome. She did my taxes and wanted to check with her boss on something and stated she would call me back. uummm, that was over a month ago.

I've called, I don't know over 30 times and left messages with reception. I EVEN talked to her once where she told me she was able to drop how much I'm paying by 1/2. Which is GREAT! BUT she wasn't at her desk and had to call me back later that night.

....that was 2 weeks ago.

Finally I thought outside my little box that's my brain and made a phone appointment with her. I'm smart, I know...only she didn't call me. I called 2 hours past the appt. and the receptionist said she'd call me that night, for sure.

She never did.

She's 3 1/2 hours away from me and has ALL my tax forms. April 16th is looming ever so quickly.

So I'm just going to go to my happy place....

...will you join me?
