A moment of pandemonium

Is that possible? To only have a moment? Its like when there’s a riot in a prison. Its not a “riot” it’s a “maylay” if there’s only 2-6 ish fighting. But let me tell you…if there’s 2-6 fighting, you can bet your bottom dollar there will be more, so therefore it’s a riot.

Any way, completely got off on that. sorry

Since I live in this fine (and I use that term sooo unbelievably loosely) state that is California, I cannot get my coffee shipped to me, that I normally get sent every 3-4 months.

I’m sure you just had 3 questions pop into your head, so let me see if I can nail them for you:

1. You seriously get your coffee shipped to you? Are you that much of a coffee snob?
- and the answer is, yes! Of course I do and of course I am! In my humbly snobby opinion, it comes best from the company directly.

2. What is this coffee you claim is so great you have to have shipped?
- Dunkin Donuts. Only Dunkin Donuts. Starbucks has become the most disgusting bitter coffee I’ve ever ingested since having my refined pallet take in the nectar that is Dunkin Donuts.

3. California is great, what are you talking about you can’t have your coffee shipped to you?
- well friends, let me tell you. Thanks to CA forcing every business to test all of their products for a ‘cancer causing chemical’ many many companies have ceased shipping into CA until its all been cleared.

This is crap! And it infuriated me to no end. Especially when I was down to a 1/2 a bag of coffee and knew I’d be out completely the moment G-man arrived. Hence the growing pandemonium. I started to seek out friends in other states where I could easily ship to them and have them mail it to me, but thankfully G-man was in Dallas before he visited me and loaded.me.up!!

I strongly dislike this state. So strongly that I will spit out the word hate. I love everything about this state and all that it offers. <contradict much?> Who else can say they have beautiful beaches on one side and gorgeous snow topped mountains on the other? This state has everything a person would want and more but its ran so horribly that I want nothing more to run screaming far far away. They hate the ‘people’ here and are doing everything possible to run them in the ground.

I didn’t mean to get on a CA rant but they’re denying me my coffee and them are fightin’ terms, in my eyes!

As many are saying around these parts, we’re all just about ready to take up arms and get back what’s being taken away from us. <of course they’re talking about the water getting shut off thanks to a man planted fish…not my coffee>
                                                                  I’m ready!

Ok, I thought these were perfect..the whole ‘arming up’ comment and all. This was during the time I was working at the temporary facility when I first met G-man.

Matthew felt much the same way about CA when he was living there... you and your guns should move to TX, you'd fit right in. :)

And huh. I'll have to try DD coffee. They sell it at our grocery store here, but it's just pretty pricey so I never get it!

I was going to say what Jenni said - sounds like you need to move to Texas! Dunkin Donuts coffee is my husband's fave... we have one close to our house, so he goes there semi-frequently. My bro-in-law always buys it at the grocery store because it's his fave, too. Anyway, enough rambling. Hope you figure out a workaround soon!

Hi! I found your blog through The Blair Affairs! I'm with you on the only DD coffee bit! There's only ONE DDs within a 30 mile radius of me, and I stop there every chance I get!

Wow. The snobbiness runs deep! I thought I was bad about coffee. And maybe you should move a few states over, ha? They even sell DD coffee here :-)

I had to look really hard before I came to the conclusion that you weren't the only girl in that photo. :)

Lol.. those pictures fit this post perfectly. =) I'd be pretty darn upset too, if I were you! I've actually never tried Dunkin Donuts coffee but after reading this post I think I have some exploring to do! I worked at Starbucks for a while and I totally agree-- their coffee sucks. . . but I still like a few of their drinks. Glad your guy saved the day! Major brownie points for him!!

I don't really drink the coffee at Starbucks...just the caramel machiattos...mmmmmhmmmmm. :) I know I've tried DD coffee, and I guess I liked it? There is a local place in Morro Bay I like to get my regular coffee from. I don't get that worked up about coffee though... ;)

Awesome. I think my Sister would share you love of DD coffee but she's so addicted she drinks all kinds. I'll have to ask her favorite.

Love the giant gun was it fun to shoot?
